Community Treasure Chest
CTC specialise in recycling furniture and every household item including beds, sofas cookers, kettles, clothes and cups. You might actually find a kitchen sink there too!
What is really special however items are sold at a PRICE that is RIGHT for the individual. CTC is open to ALL the general public but prides itself at helping those who are facing hardship. Whatever situation homeless, house fire, fleeing domestic violence, a young or elderly person struggling to set up home or a working household who just can’t afford a necessity item we can provide FREE HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO HELP YOU.

Lighthouse Food Club
Lighthouse Food Club has an annual membership of £4, you can then access food boxes for £3.50 which contain items worth £15-£20 including fresh fruit and veg, meat, dairy and store cupboard essentials.
It’s available to anyone living in the Liskeard and Looe area who is in a vulnerable position, that might be being isolated, elderly, disabled, or on a low income. The only criteria for joining the Food Club will be to have an initial consultation with one of the Lighthouse Team within the first 3 months of signing up and proof of address.
Due to high demand there is currently a waiting list, contact Lighthouse for more information.
Lighthouse is based at Bell House, Church Street, Liskeard, opening times for the food club are Tuesdays 12-6pm and Thursdays 10am-4pm.
Real Junk Food Project
A network of Cafes that use surplus food that would otherwise be thrown away to create meals for people to enjoy on a pay as you feel basis.
