Jubilee Arts and Crafts Celebration
People in Liskeard are being invited to enter an arts and crafts competition to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The shortlisted entries will be exhibited in Liskeard Public Hall on Saturday 4 June

- The entries can be in any medium but need to reflect one or more of the following themes: landscapes of Britain, our Commonwealth of nations, pride in our heritage and our multicultural nation
- There are four age categories: 4-7, 8-11, 12-18 and adult
- To enter, pick up an entry form from Liskeard TIC (with the museum on Pike Street) or download it here
Completed entry forms must be returned by Friday 13 May
Prizes will include vouchers for local attractions and restaurants and art materials and books

Rules
To be eligible to enter this competition you must live or go to school within the Liskeard Town Council boundary
Artwork can be in any medium but must be no larger than 80cm in any direction and weigh no more than 10kg. Paintings, drawings and photographs should be no larger than A1 size
Paintings, drawings and photographs must be mounted on card or thick paper
The artwork should reflect one of more of the following themes:

- Landscapes of Britain
- Our Commonwealth of Nations
- Pride in our heritage
- Our multicultural nation
Handing in day will be Friday 27th May, items will be shortlisted during the week and the chosen items displayed in an exhibition in the Public Hall on Saturday 4th June
